Pirkanmaan Taidesuunnistus Open Studios event is finally here! You are cordially invited to visit my studio August 29th and 30th from 11am to 5pm. Welcome!
My studio is located at the AH! Ateljeet studio center at Ali-Huikkaantie 33 B, 2nd floor. There are also other artists participating the Taidesuunnistus with paintings, sculpture etc. The AH! Ateljeet artists participating are: Anne Alalantela, Jaakko Himanen, Iro Kivi, Aino Louhi, Petri Merta, Reetta Partanen, Julia Prusi, Iidu Tikkanen ja Kaisa-Tuulia Tuomi. There is a free parking space in the yard. You can also come by buss. Local busses numbers 1, 8 ja 28 stop nearby at Teiskontie and buss number 80 stops even closer at Ali-Huikkaantie. If you want to come by bicycle, it only takes around twenty minutes to ride here from the city center.
Everyone’s safety is our priority. We are offering a chance to wash your hands and there is a lot of hand sanitizer available. When feeling sick, please stay home.
This is the sixteenth year of Taidesuunnistus! This time we have a little over 130 participants all over Tampere and Pirkanmaa region. During Taidesuunnistus weekend the public has the opportunity to visit artist studios, workshops, galleries and other venues. You can meet artists, designers and other creative professionals, buy works or just enjoy the art and the unique atmosphere of the event.
Taidesuunnistus is organized by Taidesuunnistus Association, a non-profit association whose members are Tampere Artists Association, Modus, Photographic Center Nykyaika, Rajataide and Taito Pirkanmaa. The purpose of the association is to promote local art, design and crafts.
